With its product "visiPad®", a multi-media super flat touchscreen monitor, visiomatic is inaugurating a new chapter in the user friendliness of technology.

The touch screen with which all equipment, services, and functions can be controlled in a building, can range from entertainment, infotainment and telecommunications, including in-house technology, and is setting new standards in user control.

Instead of working with symbols for identifying functions, every action is characterized by simple, short and concise words. Operation is made easier by the fact that the control elements are software based instead of falling back on physical buttons: clearly structured function menus take the place of a confusing jungle of buttons.

If, for example, a complex button sequence was previously pressed for recording a video film on the video recorder in a certain order, now an electronic television program appears on the visiPad® after activating the function "record video". The visiPad® then carries out the detailed programming itself by a single fingertip on the desired program. Operating instructions are no longer necessary since the technology is self-explanatory.

In addition, all functions can be combined in the building for scenarios that are specially customized to the individual needs of the user. If a number of functions are usually successively activated at particular times of the day or in certain situations such as getting up in the morning, then these can be combined in a large scenario which can be activated with a single fingertip: opening the shutters, music on, heating set to pleasant temperature in the bathroom, alarm system and answering machine turned off and the current stock exchange news displayed on the visiPad® in the dining room... technology can be that simple!

The integration of a speech recognition system of a major American manufacturer makes it possible: from now on, the visiPad® not only reacts to your fingertip but it follows every spoken command.

With the new voice control function, visiomatic supplements the various possibilities of the visiPad® with another key function, which is already integrated in the standard design. The integration of the multilingual component, already tried and tested in practice in a thousand ways, makes it possible to activate the desired functions via the visiPad® with just a few words.

The visiPad® does not have to first learn the individual pronunciation of a particular user; the commands can be given by any person in the room - no matter whether it’s the guest or the owner. Once again visiomatic has gained a technological lead by integrating the multilingual comfort function.
